Reading at Waltham Forest Literature Festival

Friday 23rd May at 7pm

Vestry House Museum, Vestry Road, Walthamstow E17 9NH
(five mins walk from Wathamstow Central)

The readers are: Michael Henry, Stephen Watts, Fawzia Kane, David Floyd, Louisa Hooper and Jacqueline Gabbitas

This event will be held in the museum hall looking out onto the beautiful museum gardens. Entry is free.

Vestry House, now the Local History Museum for the London Borough of Waltham Forest, stands within the village of Church End, Walthamstow. This secluded area still preserves a rural atmosphere, although it lies only a quarter of a mile from Walthamstow's main shopping centre and barely six and a half miles from the City of London.

Thursday 22 May. Jacquelin will be reading with Alison Hill (Alison will be launching her pamphlet) and an open mic. There will also be music from the Irish trio Wraggle Taggle.

Reading at Irish Centre in Camden

Thursday 8th May. There will be six poets reading: Emily Berry, Martyn Crucefix, Abe Gibson, Allison McVety, Myra Schneider and Jacqueline Gabbitas.

There will also be traditional Irish music from Marie McCormack. The evening will run from 8-10pm.

Middlesex Literary Festival

Middlesex Literary Festival is back for its 8th year, celebrating many aspects of writing over this free, two-day event. Fay Weldon heads up the exciting list of guest speakers including Robert Hanks and Francis Spufford. Whether you¹re a budding poet or established journalist, our readers and workshops will offer something for everyone. This annual Festival brings together authors, students, alumni, publishing industry professionals and the public.
