E17 9NH This event will be held in the museum hall looking out onto the beautiful museum gardens. Entry is free. Vestry House, now the Local History Museum for the London Borough of Waltham Forest, stands within the village of Church End, Walthamstow. This secluded area still preserves a rural atmosphere, although it lies only a quarter of a mile from Walthamstow's main shopping centre and barely six and a half miles from the City of London. Don't miss... Rhythm & Muse, Teddington Thursday 22 May. Jacquelin will be reading with Alison Hill (Alison will be launching her pamphlet) and an open mic. There will also be music from the Irish trio Wraggle Taggle. Venue: The Lion, 27 Wick Road, Teddington Reading at Irish Centre in Camden Thursday 8th May. There will be six poets reading: Emily Berry, Martyn Crucefix, Abe Gibson, Allison McVety, Myra Schneider and Jacqueline Gabbitas. There will also be traditional Irish music from Marie McCormack. The evening will run from 8-10pm.
